Our lives are a series of stories
We are walking, talking stories
You are the main character
And your mind is the narrator
The narrator cares for you
But it is not always kind
Sometimes it is misguided
Sometimes it is just plain mean
If you are feeling depressed
Then perhaps your narrator is stuck, or hurt, or angry
And if that is the case
Then you cannot wait until you feel better before you act
You are much more likely to act yourself into feeling
Then feel yourself into action
But this is often easier said than done,
Which is why asking for help is so important
